After the fire that devastated the town during the War of Independence, against the french troops, the town hall of Carrión de los Condes was rebuilt in 1868. In order to build its baseboard, stones were brought from the defunct Abbey of Benevívere, its brick facade is topped by a bell tower with a clock, which originally had the coat of arms of the town. On the inside, it should be pointed out the beauty of the plenary chamber, the staircase and its exhibition rooms.
